Build within the rules
Cataclysm Codex validates deck construction while you build. This page is a concise workflow reference, not a replacement for the official rules and current rulings.

1 Boss
Your Boss starts outside the main deck and determines its primary faction.

40+ cards
Build a main deck with at least forty eligible cards.
03
Two factions
Use your Boss faction plus no more than one secondary faction.

3 copies
Include no more than three copies of a card identity.

Apex is neutral
Apex cards do not consume the secondary-faction slot.

No tokens
Token and accessory records cannot be added to the main deck.

This establishes the primary faction and narrows the legal card pool.

Choose or infer a secondary faction
The builder can infer it from your cards, or you can lock it explicitly.

Reach forty cards
Use the live issue list and level curve to resolve copy, faction, and size problems.

Save, share, or publish
Save locally or to your account, then publish it for the community to browse and fork.
